Nikina is an indie-pop artist from Tashkent, a bright light in the underground scene of the capital, shining with raw melancholy and deep love.
Her live performances feature tracks with ethnic motifs, traditional Uzbek elements, and dreamy pop that has captivated many. Nikina regularly performs at major festivals in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, such as mocfest, Stihia, and Foure.
«Creating music that resonates personally with each listener» — this is how the artist describes her music philosophy. Her lyrics, woven from light, tender vocals, and simple yet recognizable guitar rhythms, are the tools that transport the listener into her world of dreams.
In January 2024, her debut album «Mosaic of Youth» was released, a journey reflecting Nikina’s personal experiences: friendship, growing up, love, loss, and hopes. Dreamy and reflective music with elements of indie-dream-rock-pop in various combinations.
In May 2024, she released the EP “Home/Blue Sea”, musical tales about the complex experiences of the protagonists, conveyed through allegorical lyrics. Both songs are inspired by the Aral Sea, now a desert.
Currently, Nikina is working on her second studio album and music in her native language. Her first Uzbek single, “senga”, has already found its listeners, and the artist has no plans of stopping in conquering her native stage.
