The Stihia Muynak Longterm Unified Sustainability (STIMULUS) is an initiative launched as part of the Stihia festival to drive lasting, positive change in Muynak.
Muynak, once a thriving port town on the shores of the Aral Sea, now stands as a poignant reminder of ecological challenges. STIMULUS aims to address these challenges by funding projects that support the community’s resilience and sustainable development.
Aligned with the festival’s broader institutional efforts, such as Stihia Gen, which focuses on fostering creativity and innovation, STIMULUS emphasizes practical and impactful solutions to empower the people of Muynak. Together, these programs reflect festival’s vision of integrating cultural events with meaningful action, leveraging the power of collective effort and global attention to drive progress in this historically and culturally significant region.
Projects range from small-scale initiatives, such as renovating equipment in local schools, to larger undertakings, like funding vocational training programs and constructing workout zones for public use.
We invite participants, artists, and audiences worldwide to not only experience the transformative power of music and art but also contribute to a lasting legacy for Muynak.
