Muynak is a town with a unique history and a symbol of one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time. Yet despite these difficulties, its most important treasure has endured: the spirit of its people—their vitality, resilience, and commitment to growth and culture.

The Muynak Music School is the city’s only institution offering children and young people structured musical education. Today, it is becoming more than a place of learning—it is a space of hope, where a new generation of musicians is shaping the cultural heritage of tomorrow.

Through the first steps of our program, we have already modernized the assembly hall’s sound system and purchased concert attire for student performances. But we recognize that true, sustainable development requires us to go further: to create conditions in which young musicians can not only study but also grow into professionals.

In partnership with the Ziyo Forum Foundation for the Development of Science and Education, we are launching a new project to establish a modern music studio and upgrade the school’s facilities. This initiative includes:

  • Professional studio equipment (two Behringer XR18 digital mixing consoles, Yamaha HS7 studio monitors, Rode NT1-A microphones, Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO headphones);
  • Musical instruments (two Yamaha YDP 105 digital pianos and 12 traditional dutars);
  • An interactive whiteboard, computer, and study furniture;
  • Full professional soundproofing and studio installation;
  • Tashkent – Muynak transportation costs.

But this project is not only about equipment—it is also about nurturing talent. That is why we are supporting our music teacher, Nargiza Jamalova, a native of Muynak and an honors graduate of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan. The studio’s technical condition will also be regularly maintained by sound engineers from the Stihiya festival.

This project is more than modernization. It is an investment in the future – creating lasting opportunities for young musicians to develop their creativity and scale their potential.

The total project cost is 150 million soums. All funds will be collected through the Ziyo Forum bank account and distributed directly to equipment and service providers. Full cost documentation is available upon request sent to company@unknownprojects.org
