The 2018 STIHIA festival was the first large-scale music event that took place in the heart of the Muinak Desert. The unique atmosphere created by the majestic sandy landscapes set the tone for an event that brought together music, art and nature. It was a year of new discoveries and the beginning of a tradition that brought together thousands of electronic music fans.

In 2019, the STIHIA festival grew in scale and number of participants. The focus was on expanding the line-up with artists from different countries, adding to the festival’s international status. Installations and art objects adorned the desert landscape, transforming the area into a true oasis of creativity.

After a forced break, festival STIHIA returned in 2021 with a renewed aesthetic and an even wider programme. The interactive zones and unique performances were created especially for guests and became the centrepieces of the show. This year emphasised the importance of the synergy between music and art in a desert environment.environment.

STIHIA 2022 was a record-breaking year in terms of the number of participants and artists represented, which expanded not only the geography of the festival, but also the diversity of genres. The year was also marked in the hearts of the guests and organisers by the natural elements that raged on the eve of the festival – torrential rain, lightning, sandstorms and elastic winds reminded us once again that STIHIA is a riot at the intersection of the human spirit and indefatigable natural energy.

In 2023, STIHIA changed its location for the first time, taking place near Bukhara. The historical atmosphere of the ancient city added a new dimension to the festival, harmoniously combining with the tradition of electronics and contemporary art. The participants noted the unique combination of architectural heritage and advanced music technologies.
